Abstract
To increase the contribution of the agricultural sector, the role of agricultural extension is very important. The more important thing is to change the attitude and behavior of the agricultural community so that they know and are willing to apply the recommended information brought and delivered by agricultural extension agents. One of them is the pummelo citrus (Citrus maxcima) farmer, considering that pummelo citrus (Citrus maxcima) is a leading commodity in one of the regions in East Java, namely Magetan Regency. Therefore, it is necessary to do research on the relationship between counseling and increased productivity of pummelo citrus (Citrus maxcima). This research was conducted in Tambakmas Village, Sukomoro District, Magetan Regency. This research method is by distributing questionnares to 3 agricultural extension workers and 20 pummelo citrus (Citrus maxcima) farmers. The data used consists of primary data and secondary data. The data analysis used is multiple linier regression analysis. The results showed that the competence of agricultural extensions worker, facilities, social environment of agricultural extensions worker, motivation of agricultural extensions worker, and leadership of agricultural extensions worker had significant effect on the productivity of pummelo citrus (Citrus maxcima).
