Abstract
Profit growth is the increase or decrease in profits generated by the company in a certain period. This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of Liquidity, Solvability, Activity on profit growth and find out whether company size is able to moderate the effect of liquidity, solvency, and activity on profit growth in coal mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017-2021 period. This study took objects in the coal mining sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017-2021 period totaling 26 companies and obtained a research sample of 21 companies. Sampling in this study was using purposive sampling technique. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis, classical assumption test and hypothesis testing. Then to test variable moderation using the residual moderation test. The results of the study prove that liquidity is able to contribute to profit growth, solvency is able to contribute to profit growth and activities are able to contribute to profit growth. The results of the remaining moderation test prove that in parcial firm size is able to moderate the effect of liquidity, solvency, activity on profit growth.
