Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of the wholesale price index of non-oil and gas exports, the area of large private plantations in Indonesia, and CPO production of Malaysia on the export volume of indonesian cpo. From the time series data of exports volume of Indonesian CPO for the period 2000-2021, it Showed trends volume of exports is going to up, but recently in 2016, there’s starting fluctuation. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis and ARDL (autoregressive distribution lag). Results of the test by multiple linear regression analysis showed that as together of wholesale price index of non-oil and gas exports, the area of large private plantations of Indonesia, and the CPO production of Malaysia affected on the export volume of Indonesian CPO. Partially the area of large private plantations in Indonesia and CPO production in Malaysia each have a significant and positive effect, and the wholesale price index of non-oil and gas exports got a non-significant and negative effect. After that, the result of ARDL, the wholesale price index of non-oil and gas exports, the area of large private plantations in Indonesia, and CPO production of Malaysia indicated a cointegration in long run.
