Abstract
Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises are currently very influential in the development of the economy in Indonesia. This sector has an important role in the regional and national economy. One of them is a micro small and medium business in the peninsula written batik, this handmade batik business has begun to experience considerable improvement. From the facts on the ground at the moment the written batik entrepreneur in Tanjung Bumi there is no complete supporting document that can help financial records of each transaction event that occurs in the business. This research uses qualitative research methods. The object under study is the entrepreneurs who apply financial records to micro small and medium enterprises in the case of the batik business in Tanjung Bumi. This study aims to determine the application of financial records in the batik business and to find out the understanding of the batik business people towards accounting. From the analysis of the data found in the field, it can be concluded that the business owners of written batik in Tanjung Bumi are still lacking in the application of financial records and the recording model used is still simple, that is only limited to the understanding of the business owner or limited ability possessed by the business owner, the reason for the owner to keep records is not only to know the income but also because there is a car loan or bank loan to the owner of the business.
