Abstract

Aquascape production at Nickz Aquascape required scheduling so that it can be completed in an optimal time. Aquascape is the art of aesthetically arranging aquatic plants, rocks, and wood in an aquarium. During this pandemic, the demand for aquascape had increased sharply. In businesses that require time to produce products, there were often problems with the time difference between the due date and the delivery date which causes customer complaints due to the absence of a clear work schedule for each order. In this research of aquascape product scheduling analysis, the researcher used the PERT (Program Evaluation and Review Technique) method. This method was used to describe a series of activities for making aquascapes including: the type of activity, the sequence of activities and the time required for the activity. To visualize the PERT method, critical path diagram was created. From the results of the analysis using the PERT method, it was found that the critical path in the 120cm size aquascape production activity is A-B-C-G-H-I-J-K-L which had a completion time of 66.74 hours.
