Abstract
Indonesia's population is growing rapidly. Growth it is these people who demand urban development to meet their needs the lives of its inhabitants. Rapid population growth makes land where the population is getting narrower so that very apartments are built effectively to occupy and meet the needs of life. The Koa Surabaya government is building an apartment in the Jl. Raya Menganti area Jl. Dukuh Karangan Tengah Swipe, Kec Wiyung, Surabaya. At this location, will built 5 towers. The tower currently under construction is Tower 1 (La Chiva) with 45 floors and 968 units. Construction of tower 1 (La Chiva) of 5 towers in the development project apartemnet westtown view surabaya implemented by PT. PPRO Sampurna Jaya which started in April 2019 and is scheduled to finish in October 2022 . Westtown View Apartment development project consists of a lower structure and superstructure. The bottom structure is the pile foundation, pile cap and sloof, while the upper structure consists of columns, beams, floor plates and roof. The depth of excavation at the pile cap causes the necessary discharge of groundwater handled before the casting stage is carried out on the pile cap so that ground water does not affect the cement water in the concrete mixture used to cast the pile stamp. Based on this background, the practical work implemented in the Westown View Surabaya Apartment Development Project the theme of the analysis of the installation of pile caps against the groundwater level is taken of metal work, installation of formwork and casting.
