Abstract

The FEB UPN Veteran East Java building was built between buildings that have stood with a building height of 9 floors and a building area of 1015.17 m2. The existing foundation used is a pile foundation, then modified into a drill pile foundation in order to obtain a method that is safe for the surrounding environment and easy mobility. Before planning a foundation, it is necessary to do a field test, namely the SPT test which serves to determine the soil layer. Due to the high ground water level, the cassing method is used in the process of installing drill piles. The purpose of this study is to analyze the bearing capacity of the drill pile foundation, design an efficient drill pile foundation against the received superstructure load, analyze the settlement of pile foundations and drill piles that occur without changes to the superstructure structure. The modification results obtained from this plan are the existing pile foundation as a group pile foundation while the drill pile foundation is planned as a single pile foundation with an axial bearing capacity of the pile foundation P2 = 592.00 kN, P3 = 592.00 kN, P4 = 592.00 kN, P5 = 592.00 kN while the drill pile foundation P1 = 5823.50 kN, and P2 = 1187.363 kN. Then the deflection that occurs at the pile P2 = 7.5466E-05 mm, P3 = 0.079905124 mm, P4 = 0.040840397 mm, P5 = 0.175791273 mm while the drill pile foundation P1 = 1.729613002 mm, and P2 = 0.003995256 mm. The settlement that occurs in the pile foundation with manual calculations is P2 = 13,291 cm, P3 = 7,315 cm, P4 = 6,529 cm, P5 = 3,523 cm, while the drill pile foundation with manual calculations is P1 = 7,979 cm, and P2 = 7,666 cm. Furthermore, the calculation of the settlement that occurs with the auxiliary program is obtained as follows on piles P2 = 3.515 cm, P3 = 5.425 cm, P4 = 2.815 cm, P5 = 2.096 cm, while the pile foundation drilled with manual calculations P1 = 6.383 cm, and P2 = 6.538 cm.
